The Canadian Death Race !!!

Intro:

While ICD takes on many challenges for people of all ability levels... this one will test one’s courage, endurance and team work. The shortest leg to run is 19km on some pretty tough terrain. The benefits are best spoken by participants:

”Let me just repeat myself and say that the CDR experience was my best social/athletic event ever. These memories will stay with me for life.” - Saci Mowinski, Soloist, Windsor, ON Canada

“I just want to say thanks to all for the great time we had in Grand Cache. Coming into the CDR as a newby racer was scary but has given me the bug to do more. Since then I've continued running and I am hooked.” -Marco Bianchi, Leg 3 runner, Montreal, QC Canada

I Challenge Diabetes wants this adventure to to grow! Teams are made up of 5 people, and this is the perfect opportunity for individuals to not only challenge themselves, but also to encourage their team, family members and community!

If the name of the race didn't clue you in, it is not an easy race! However, this challenge is filled with an ultimate sense of accomplishement and creates an amazing support system, one that will keep you motivated the whole way through!  Remember a good team works together so that everyone has a leg they will enjoy and so they can all celebrate at the finish!

Below we have provided a chart that will break down the race for those who want to eith run solo or in a team:

Don't forget to BELIEVE in YOURSELF!
